Are you eligible for free* kid’s dental? The government-funded Child Dental Benefit Schedule provides eligible kids with a government benefit of $1,052 for select dental services.

The Child Dental Benefit Schedule can be used for a variety of dental services for your child. Whether they need a check-up, teeth cleaning, x-rays, fillings or extractions, the Child Dental Benefit Schedule may help with your dental bill.

There is eligibility criteria for your child to be suitable for this Schedule. It is means tested, which requires Family Tax Benefit A or a relevant Australian Government payment.

The Child Dental Benefit Schedule cannot be used for specialist dental work such as orthodontics, cosmetic dental work and can not be used for any services provided within a hospital.
