Direct Debit
Participating Dentists offer a payment plan for treatments with an out-of-pocket cost over $1000. For more information on whether your Dentist offers this, contact your local nib Dental Care centre.
Superannuation for Dental
It is possible to use superannuation to pay for dental treatments. This option fits into an arrangement with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) called ‘Compassionate Release of Superannuation’. This program can be a solution for people who would otherwise not be able to afford necessary dental expenses and do not qualify for treatment in the public health system. Check your eligibility with your individual superannuation fund.
